The Power of Momentum

What I realized for the past few weeks is that “everything” you do matters.

It won’t matter today. At the least. But it will after the single tiny decisions you make every single hour, day and weeks pile up.

The result of your tiny actions done daily is only binary.

Either you’re growing or you’re dying.

That’s why it’s starting to kick in my mind how powerful decisions are. Because at the end of the day, it’s the only thing we have most control of. And that’s a decision! If you’re deciding to not decide right now, if that piled up over time, you know what’s going to happen.

And I bet you’ve seen it. You’ve seen one decision done daily made you successful in any area of your life, or it made you miserable.

It’s the invisible force

We ride it daily. And that invisible force has its own natural progression, and we can’t change it. Either we make it work for us, or against our goals and desires.

That’s why you’ll notice when you’re impatient, you have no momentum but your mind wants that instant gratification.

It’s because you have not understood the power of that invisible force.

Life is binary. Success and failure. Not in an instance, but over time. And the plot twist is, we don’t notice it.

We don’t notice that it’s going to make us or break us in six months, twelve or eighteen months from today. It’s because results don’t show up today (Jeff Olson calls this the “Invisible Results”).

So…

The invitation the universe is sending to us is this: This moment, you’re making a life-changing decision. It doesn’t look like a life-changing one, until the invisible results manifest over time. Use it in your favor.
